Welcome to the Exhibition
Introducing contemporary artists whose scope of works depict the interaction and encounters people have on a daily basis.
"ENCOUNTERS" has different connotations for diRerent people of diverse cultures. The word can conjure up endless possibilities, ranging from the very intimate and personal, to the very public and communal.
The encounter may be a conscience and willing level; for example enjoying a cup of tea with a friend or on a more inescapable level, forced upon one; for example waiting at a taxi rank.
The encounters at work is another theme the artist pursue, be it a rural or an urban environment.
