Molongwane Anthony Makou, was born in Pretoria. Presently residing at Ga - Rankuwa, Pretoria. He matriculated in 1978 from Tsogo High School at Mmakau: De Wildt. In 1977 he trained as an art tee--her at Ndaleni Art School in Pietermaritzburg, Natal. In 1977 and 1979 he was the first prize winner of Maize Board Art Competition. In 1998 Molongwane Antonym Makou, participate in a workshop of Aluminum Plate Lithograph conducted by Ruter University, Master printer Eileen Forte producing a large scale printer panel for the 2 de Johannesburg Biennale Fringe exhibition with 26 other artists.
