To Have And To Hold

NAN SPURWAY - Bridal Bouquet

The flower is symbolic of transition, spring, beauty and celebration. Our custom of using flowers at festivities stems from ancient Greek and Roman customs where a crown of flowers was traditionally worn at all celebratory occasions. There is something uniquely captivating about the orchid. It is both exotic and erotic, it has a sense of passion about it. This can create special ambiance for a bride on her wedding day and may account for their popularity in bridal bouquets. They are marvelous creations of nature which may be equated the thoughts of a bridegroom looking upon his bride as she wanders down the aisle towards him.
